Trailer breakdown assistance

Have just been renewing my car insurance / breakdown cover for this year and when I checked with the company about my trailer breakdown, i discovered that my trailer breakdown would only recover my trailer if it was empty and would not cover any means of getting my horse home or to a safe place in the event of a breakdown. Now Jasper is very well behaved but i really couldnt trust him to stand in a layby whilst the breakdown service recovered my car and trailer !!

The company happily took my money last year and what do they think you would be transporting in a horse trailer ? Thankfully . i didnt break down last year and i've now changed to a company with specialist equine assistance , that will find accommodation / transport for us both no matter where we get stuck !

Think i should learn to read the small print better ??
